Connection
Two Geranium Plume Moths hover in suspended union, symmetrically joined at their wingtips against a black field. Radiating outward from their forms are waves of vibration, pheromone, and sound—ephemeral signals exchanged through instinct and evolutionary design.
This work reflects on the sensory strategies used by many species to navigate darkness and uncertainty. Through resonance and receptivity, organisms seek alignment—physiologically, behaviorally, and emotionally. In this suspended moment, the painting evokes the transformative potential of connection: the way intimacy can catalyze metamorphosis, revealing new forms of perception, adaptation, and transformation.
