Art Into Nature

Art into Nature is a small outdoor installation created in the redwoods near my studio—an experiment in returning painted works to the landscape that inspired them. Each piece began as an acrylic painting on maple panel and was later transferred onto weather-resistant metal plates for temporary placement along local trails. Installed on fallen logs, stumps, and existing surfaces, the project was designed to minimize ecological impact while foregrounding the native species that shape this forest.

At its core, Art into Nature reflects an intention to honor the organisms that inhabit this place and to encourage a more attentive, reciprocal way of seeing the natural world.
