California Pipevine Swallowtail Butterflies
48.5” x 29”, acrylic on maple panel, 2017
In 2017, Tiffany Bozic released a limited-edition giclée print of her Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly painting, donating 100% of the proceeds to habitat restoration efforts in the San Francisco Bay Area. The fundraiser supported the work of lepidopterist Tim Wong and the San Francisco Botanical Garden to reintroduce the native pipevine plant, the sole host for the Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly, and help revive this iconic species in its natural range. The original painting of the Pipevine Swallowtail was also featured in Bozic’s solo exhibition Spectrum at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York, where it stood as a symbol of transformation and ecological renewal.
