The Moon’s Pull, 36” round diameter, acrylic on maple wood panel,2022
The Moon’s Pull is a celebration of the local biodiversity of life found in the tidepools of Duxbury Reef, CA. Around the edges of the round painting, a colorful kaleidoscope of intertwining seaweed dance in the foreground. Behind the seaweed, ribbons of bull kelp sway against a starry night sky. Interspersed amongst the seaweed and kelp feature an array of native species that rely on them to survive, like juvenile octopus and nudibranchs.
