This painting titled 'Armadillidiidae' features two stacked Armadillidium vulgare also known as the common pill bug or Roly pollies. Three tiny quinacridone ants crawl over them. The torqouise water follows the natural grain of the maple wood as it turns into shades of Pthalo blue like a topographic map.

This painting has a small hole in the back so it can hang directly flush on the wall. Every original painting is spray varnished with a protective coating to help insure it's original condition. Please be advised though that since wood is an organic material that it should be stored away from direct light, moisture and extreme temperature fluctuations.
